Arrive in Tbilisi. Pick up from Tbilisi international airport.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will explore picturesquely and the most fertile part of Georgia –Kakheti, which borders the Great Caucasus range and the beautiful Valley of Alazani from the north. We will have an excursion to the small town of Sighnaghi. Have a walking tour around the town, surrounded by the great defensive wall. The town appears to be one of the examples of fortified medieval towns in the country. Sighnaghi is a town of smiling faces and an abundant variety of wines, wooden balconies overlooking the narrow streets and small benches near the gateways, the meeting place for the oldest generation. Visit Bodbe nunnery complex in Sighnaghi, where Saint Nino is buried, who preached Christianity in IV century, one of the most favourable saints for Georgian people. After excursion drive to Tbilisi
Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning start the very scenic drive up through the High Caucasus Mountains along the Georgian Military Highway towards Kazbegi region. On the way, we will drive across the Cross Pass (2 395m.) and along the Tergi River that brings us to Kazbegi – the main town in this region. From Kazbegi a leisurely 4 hours walk through beautiful valleys and woodland that leads us to a hilltop (2170 m.) both overlooking the surrounding snowy peaks of the Greater Caucasus Mountains(You will need to hire the 4X4 vehicle to reach hilltop (2170 m.)which you have to pay there(appx-USD 30). Here we will enjoy unique nature with beautiful panoramic views of the Caucasus, including mount Kazbegi (5047m.). Afterwards drive back to Tbilisi. En route visit Ananuri architectural complex (17th century) overlooking a reservoir on the Aragvi River. In the evening drive back to Tbilisi.
A town built in the 5th century along the valley of Mtkvari River. The country is located on the crossroad of Europe and Asia and you will easily find an influence of European, Asian and Russian (pot soviet) architecture. All the places are very close to each other, everything is within a few minutes of walk , we have bus tour from Holy trinity Cathedral third-tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedral in the world, drive to hero square and pass Rustaveli avenue , Tbilisi walking tour starts from Freedom square, it is the main square of the capital, walking down to Baratashvili street called as a street of contrasts, we will see KonKa , Gabriadze Theatre and clock tower , Anchiskhati Basilica (VI Century ) , Patriarcate of Georgia, Bridge of peace, Erekle II street (royal street) , SIoni Church (VI century) , statue of Toastmaster Tamada , Shardeen street , Maidan square, Metekhi (13th century) plateau , will take cabel car ride to Narikala fortress (IV centry) , see view on the city and also see huge statue of Mothers of Georgians – Kartlisdeda, go down walking by botanical garden street to see the only mosque where Shiites and Sunnites pray together, walk in narrow old streets and feel the soul of old Tbilisi, see Legvtakhevi small canyon with waterfall, explore brick-domed underground sulfur baths, the district of naturally hot mineral waters (17th century)- Abanotubani.
